On 2 October, Tanushree Dutta once again reiterated that she did not receive any legal notice from Nana Patekar.

Don’t Believe Lies About MNS Attack: Tanushree Dutta in a New Statement
Actor Tanushree Dutta has released another statement on MNS workers attacking her car on the day she protested against Nana Patekar’s alleged harassment. She has urged people to go through old footage of the attack and not believe the lies that are being propagated against her.
There was a lie that was spun by the four culprits; Nana,Ganesh acharya, dir Rakesh Sarang and producer Sami Siddique as well as their supporters on set and outside the set. The MNS party who were called to mob attack me. The lie was that someone from our side did something to instigate that attack and that it was an altercation between us and media. It was a LIE to cover up and justify the heinous nature of the attack. That lie is still being perpetrated. Do not fall for that and get distracted. I urge everyone to find old footage from archives and go through them. Also MNS is not just a party but an ideology like Al-Quaida or ISIS…they are a violent disruptive communal, intolerant ideology and anyone from any profession can pledge allegiance to it. So please check facts before jumping to conclusions.Tanushree Dutta, Actor
Dimple Kapadia Had Earlier Pointed Out Nana Patekar’s Dark Side
In an interview to Anupama Chopra, about eight years ago, Dimple Kapadia spoke about how ‘obnoxious’ she found Nana Patekar, with whom she shared screen space in films like Krantiveer.
“As far as his talent goes, there’s no match to him. He is an extremely talented man. When I see talent like him, sau khoon maaf hai. Sab kuch maaf hai. Meri jaan bhi lelo. (When I see talent like him, 100 murders are forgiven. Everything can be forgiven. Take my life too). That’s the effect he has on me. But, as a person, with me he has been very, very nice, kind and a good friend. But I have also seen his dark side. We all have a dark side which is nicely and safely kept aside.” she said.
I Applaud Tanushree Dutta’s Courage, Says Varun Dhawan
Actor Varun Dhawan has applauded the courage of actress Tanushree Dutta, who has spoken out about experiencing sexual harassment.
Tanushree, a decade after she first named Nana Patekar for harassing her on the sets of a film, has once again spoken out about the ordeal in the wake of the global #MeToo movement. Several celebrities have spoken out in support of the need for several others to come out about their experience.
According to IANS, Varun, who was present at the ninth Jagran Film Festival’s closing ceremony here on Sunday night, was asked to comment on Tanushree’s claim.
He said: “I have been busy with ‘Sui Dhaaga’, so I haven’t really heard the whole story, but I think what’s most important at a work place is respect — whether for a woman, man or a child. We want to make our industry a safe place and everyone deserves equal respect. Also if someone is openly talking about the issue, we should hear them out. It takes great courage to talk about it and I applaud that courage.”

Pooja Bhatt, Anurag Kashyap Speak Up on Tanushree’s Harassment Allegations
“I find it a very frivolous conversation whether ‘Bollywood stands with you or not’. Truth doesn’t need a PR. If you believe it, go out there and speak it. Do not expect anyone to hold your hands and support you. Bollywood is a great place. You can expect support for award ceremonies, weddings and funerals,” Pooja Bhatt told the media at the closing ceremony of 9th Jagran Film Festival.
“It is important to change, acknowledge and accept our mistakes. It’s important that we, this goes even for me, introspect and see the wrongs we have done. It’s time we all grew up. It’s the fault of the entire system, the conditioning,” Anurag Kashyap said at closing ceremony.
