If you thought you were the only one suffering due to bad weather in the national capital, think again. On Thursday, Bharatiya Janata Party’s General Secretary Ram Madhhav was also on the receiving end of Delhi’s treacherous weather.

As Delhi airport experienced a 2-hour shutdown between 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. with all flights delayed and several flights diverted, the BJP minister ended up being stuck on his flight for almost three hours due to inclement weather.

Madhav even tweeted about the delay, stating that “no technology can conquer nature”.

Madhav wasn’t the only one to tweet about their hardship and many others were not quite as sporting about the ‘spoilsport’ weather as Indigo Airlines called in a tweet to respond to several complaints by passengers.

Not just Indigo, other carriers such as Vistara, Spice Jet and Jet Airways also responded to passenger complaints on social media. Despite airport operations resuming post 9.30 a.m, irregularities in schedule continued well into the afternoon.
